Hi! I'm Jess...

I’m originally from Fort Worth, Texas, and earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma. For twelve years, I worked as an oil and gas engineer on some cool projects.  Over time, I felt a pull toward something more connected to my long-standing passion for health and wellness.

That journey began when I completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training in Costa Rica. Immersed in the study of movement, alignment, and the body’s natural ability to heal, I discovered a deeper appreciation for how we can support our own well-being. After the birth of our second child, I decided to follow that calling and pursue a career that helps others restore function, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life.

We moved to Toronto, Ontario so I could attend the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where I graduated with honors from the four-year doctoral program in June 2025.

My husband and I first discovered the Kootenays during a camping trip with our two kids in 2021. We instantly fell in love with the area - the mountains, the community, and the connection to nature.  We knew this is where we wanted to raise our young family. These days, we love exploring the outdoors, connecting with the community, and settling into this beautiful corner of the world we now call home.
